Sarah & Martin's Fundraising Skydive on behalf of ESCAPE on 28th April 2024 @ Dunkeswell

Come along and show your support to Sarah & Martin, who are jumping out of an aeroplane to raise funds for Escape.

Dunkeswell Aerodrome is situated in the heart of the Blackdown Hills, approximately 6 miles North of Honiton. Once a small quiet parish village, Dunkeswell is now a busy and vibrant Aero hub for one of the largest General Aviation communities in South West England. Initially established as an American Naval base during the peak of WW2, it now supports a network of aviation businesses and commercial developments.

We are situated at 839 feet above Sea Level, making us the highest licenced airfield in the United Kingdom.

The Aviator Cafe with terrace is the ideal place to watch the activity at the aerodrome, and see the parachutes descend.

Sarah is aiming to raise £1973 since it's the year she was born...50 years ago! So a big one! Due to our longstanding relationship with them, Berry's have kindly donated a coach to help with fundraising efforts towards meeting this target...so why not make a day of it and come along with other members, and join in the camaraderie, whilst supporting Escape at the same time?

Martin set himself a target of £1000 and is very nearly there! A fantastic result, and probably one he'll smash!

Seats on the coach are £5 per person, pick up from Bridgwater or Taunton....times to be confirmed.

This event is weather dependent. If it is to be re-organised due to bad weather a post will be issued on the evening before and the morning on our Facebook page.
